FA BADGE OF HONOUR By Esosa Osa
Wembley’s a warzone
As two tribes collide
A short battle
A mark on history
Success or failure, an inevitable end
Divided by the same goal,
The line is drawn,
The Masters dictate the strategies
As the Warriors fight for their badge
Using their legs as ammunition.
As we spectate this titanic battle
Of this two blue tribes
Which tribe will fall ?
Who will claim the Emirates treasure ?
Who Will be remembered?
Indeed, who will wear the FA badge of honour?
** A poem on the epic English FA Cup battle between Chelsea FC and Leicester City FC. Written by Esosa Osa, a Mass Communication student of Covenant University, Ota, Nigeria.
